Cayenne Pepper Diet

The Cayenne Pepper Diet also known as the Master Cleanse Diet. The diet is done by consumption of a lemon detox drink which contains maple syrup, water, lemon juice, cayenne pepper. It not only helps one in the reduction of weight, but also clears the body from all unwanted toxins. It helps in colon cleansing and thus improvisation of digestive system and bowel movements. One has the option to take the above mentioned mixture as a hot or a cold tea. Moreover, the laxative tea needs to be consumed every morning and night which would be a combination of seas salt with 32 ounces of hot water. One could consume it at regular intervals of few hours as well. The process helps in cleansing the system within an hour.

A recommended period for the diet is approximately ten days after which a slow transition to normal food needs to take place. In the event of one breaking the diet in its due course or after the advised period, one needs to do it slowly to avoid the so called “dumping syndrome”. The syndrome can be described as the process of food getting stuck in the digestive tract. One needs to consume juices, soups, fright, vegetables and other light medium food before getting on track with normal food. In case if a person wants they can make an addition of probiotics to their diet for developing mucus in their intestine.

The cayenne pepper diet has mixed opinions since some people say that there is a lack of nutrients in the diet. Some are of the opinion that dieters experience dizziness, fainting syndrome, delirium while undertaking the diet. However, it is said that these result due to the exuding toxins from the body which takes place and thus the problems would go away once the body gets used to the diet. It has also been debated that the sea water flush removes the good and the bad bacteria from the body which is resultant in constipation. However, this does not hold true, if one makes a gradual change to normal food after the diet gets over.
