During the 90s, this lemonade diet recipe was made more popular by Peter Glickman by promoting Burroughs’s lemon cleanse regimen in front of a modern audience. According to its creator and founder, the Lemon Detox Diet is a detoxification regimen that helps the body in the removal of harmful and nonspecific toxins within the body. It is also responsible in reducing a person’s diet, which is contributory to weight loss. It is also known as an effective cure for ulcer and other general panacea which aims to correct any type of disorder. However, there exists no empirically tested evidence that the Lemon Detox Diet acquires any beneficial outcomes aside from temporary weight loss.
